When Joe Marshall founded Marshall Erecting in 1974, he did so with a small equipment inventory and big plans. He acted as owner, millwright, truck driver, and mechanic. As his clientele grew, so did the company. He erected a new building in St. Francis in 1980, setting his sights on becoming one of Milwaukee's top millwright contractors. That goal was achieved in 2005, when Marshall Erecting contributed more millwright hours than any other contractor in the millwright district.

Now Joe's son, Paul, is preparing to lead the company's continued growth. Paul joined the company in 1992 and became a journeyman millwright in 1996. He started working as a project manager in 1999, working closely with customers and field superintendents. Paul's tireless work ethic and contagious enthusiasm have helped launch Marshall Erecting to the top of its game -- as specialists in machinery moving, plant maintenance, laser alignment, certified welding, and millwright and crane work.
